Featured food story
“Eating lobster when I took a trip down east. It’s a good memory because there was so much to eat and we celebrated with family and friends.”
Yield: 2 servings
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 Lobster tails
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 tbsp garlic, pressed
Directions
- Defrost the lobster tails in warm water.
- Using a kitchen knife or shears cut down the center of the top of each tail down to the base. Next grab each side of the shell and gently pry the shell away from the meat, exposing the meat.
- In a small bowl combine old bay seasoning, butter and garlic, brush onto lobster.
- Broil lobsters with the over door ajar, until lightly brown and meat is opaque, approximately 10-11 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on the lobster tail size, so make sure you keep an eye on those tails!
- Enjoy!
